ABOUT
Paul Alan (Paul Pierre Reichert), was born in Basel (CH).
After achieving the A-levels he began his Bachelor studies in classical vocals with Isolde Siebert at the music academy Basel, where he was fascinated with the classical vocal technique.
During this time Paul Alan took jazz vocal lessons with Ann Malcolm and started to broaden his musical knowledge and techniques.
After graduation he moved to London (UK) and successfully completed his master degree in pop vocal performance at The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance (ICMP).
During this time, he released his first Single "Marry me" and became national champion at the ICCA's UK final with his a capella group "the conchords".
After this year, he moved back to Basel and graduated in vocal pedagogy at the music academy Basel in order to complete his second master degree.
Paul Alan is currently working as a vocal coach and sings in his band "Surreal minds".
He is part of the "Vokalensemble kor.", "Queerchor Schweiz" and has a Duo called "Icy Dusk" with Soprano Lydia Segura.
